The aptly named Carnival Cruise Lines is the conga line of cruising. Ships are festively colored, from the stateroom comforters to the vessels themselves. Activities also reflect the “Fun Ship” theme with Men’s Hairy Chests Contests, Austin Powers Dance Classes, even a ‘Learn How to Make a Towel Animal’ exhibitions.

Carnival has added French chef, George Blanc, and the Presidential Wine Club for the sophisticated cruiser. Carnival cruises focus in the Caribbean but they also offer the innovative “Cruise to Nowhere,” a two-day ‘destination-less’ sail.
