Norwegian Cruise Line is transforming the cruise industry with the resort-like “Freestyle Cruising,” which eschews set schedules, evening attire and reservation dining. NCL will soon introduce new vessels conducive to the Freestyle experience.
NCL’s newest ship, The Norwegian Pearl, offers 23 restaurants and lounges encouraging passengers “to just hang out,” as well as two 4,390 square foot villas. NCL is the only line to offer inter-island cruises in Hawaii and year-round New York departures.
